Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-07-01
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern registration and participation in programmes run by Chipuka Academy ("the Academy"). By registering as a parent/guardian or registering a player, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Registration
Only a parent or legal guardian may register a player. You confirm that the information you provide, including the player's date of birth and medical details, is accurate and complete. The Academy may request supporting documents (birth certificate or passport) to verify a player's age.
3. Fees & Payment
A one-off registration fee is payable on enrolment, covering the first month's training fee, an admin fee, three kits (home, away, third), and a player data card. Thereafter, a monthly training fee is payable before the 5th of each month via the Academy's M-Pesa paybill. Fees are non-refundable except at the Academy's discretion. Accounts with overdue balances may be suspended from training and matches until settled.
4. Code of Conduct
Players, parents, and guardians are expected to conduct themselves with respect towards coaches, staff, other players, and opposing teams at all times. The Academy may take disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of enrolment, for serious or repeated breaches of conduct.
5. Health & Safety
You confirm that the player is medically fit to participate in football training and matches, and agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect participation. In the event of injury or a medical emergency during Academy activities, you authorise Academy staff to seek appropriate emergency medical treatment on the player's behalf.
6. Media & Image Consent
The Academy may photograph or film players during training, matches, and events for use on its website, ChipukaTV, social media, and promotional materials. If you do not wish your child's image to be used in this way, please notify the Academy in writing.
7. Attendance & Withdrawal
Regular attendance supports player development and squad planning. Parents wishing to withdraw a player should notify the Academy in writing; fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded.
8. Disciplinary Action & Suspension
The Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove a player from a programme for misconduct, safeguarding concerns, or non-payment of fees, following reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Liability & Indemnity
While the Academy takes reasonable care to ensure a safe training environment, participation in football carries an inherent risk of injury. To the extent permitted by law, the Academy's liability for injury arising from normal participation in training or matches is limited, save for injury caused by the Academy's negligence.
10. Amendments
The Academy may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
